Holloway is a hard hike of about 6 miles in the Townsend Ranger District of the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest in Montana, managed by the Forest Service. The out-and-back route rises from a low of about 6,400 feet to a high of about 9,000 feet, with a total gain of about 2,700 feet. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows horses and bikes. That makes it a versatile option for riders and pack animals. Nearby, West Fork Cabin Gulch is about 1.4 miles away and Edith Lake about 2.3 miles. Rillway Cabin, about 4.4 miles off, is a place to stay. Skidway Campground lies about 6.4 miles away.
