High Divide is a hard hike in the Rexford Ranger District of Montana's Kootenai National Forest. It is an out-and-back route of about 11 miles, with an elevation gain of roughly 2,300 feet, from a low point of about 2,700 feet to a high point of about 5,878 feet. The trailhead, High Divide TH 67, is the starting point. The trail is on natural surface and allows both horses and bikes, according to Forest Service records. The open season runs from June 1 through October 31. Parsnip Overlook sits about a mile away, and Rocky Gorge Campground and North Fork Parsnip Creek are each roughly 1.3 miles off. For climbing, Dihedral Wall is about 6 miles away.
