Pipe Divide is a 9.3-mile out-and-back hike in the Libby Ranger District of Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana, managed by the Forest Service. The trail starts at about 4,269 feet and climbs to about 6,126 feet, with a total one-way gain of 2,465 feet. The route is rated moderate. The trail is a natural-surface route that allows both horses and bikes. That makes it a flexible choice for riders and pack animals. For an overnight base, Big Creek Baldy Lookout Rental sits about 3.4 miles away. Loon Lake Campground, about 8.4 miles off, is another option.
