Two-Dog is a 7-mile out-and-back hike on Bureau of Land Management land in the Shoshone Field Office of Idaho, managed by the BLM. The route is natural surface and runs from a low point of about 5,556 feet to a high of about 5,902 feet, with a total climb of about 38 feet. The trail is rated hard. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Ketchum show July highs around 80°F and lows near 45°F, with fewer wet days than any other month. Winter brings highs around 30°F and regular snow from November through April. The trail sits close to several other routes. The Bulldog and Centerline hikes are each about 0.1 mile away, and the Bull Dog mountain bike route is just as close. Climbers can head to Knob Hill, about 3.4 miles off.
