Lambs Gulch is a moderate out-and-back hike on Bureau of Land Management land in Idaho's Shoshone Field Office, about 3.8 miles long and with a one-way climb of 565 feet. The route starts at around 5,657 feet and reaches about 6,110 feet at its high point. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Ketchum show July highs around 80°F with lows near 45°F and only about five wet days that month. Snow days drop to zero from May through September, while winter brings highs near 30°F and snow on about nine days a month. Several other trails sit close by, including Lambs Gulch Re-Route N about 0.3 miles away and Two-Dog and Bulldog within about a mile. Climbers can find Knob Hill roughly 4.4 miles off.
