Two Dog is a mountain biking route in Idaho's Shoshone Field Office, managed by the Bureau of Land Management. It is a 4.06-mile out-and-back with a total elevation gain of 1,655 feet, and the climb is steepest around the third mile, where the grade reaches about 16 percent. The route starts at a low point of about 5,497 feet and climbs to a high of about 5,907 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 80°F with lows near 45°F and only about five wet days in the month. Winter brings highs around freezing and regular snow days from December through February. Centerline and Bull Dog are both mountain biking routes just 0.1 mile away, and the Bulldog hike is close by. For climbing, Knob Hill is about 3.5 miles off.
