Turner Creek Trail is a 3.6-mile moderate hike in the Blue Ridge Ranger District of the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests in north Georgia, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is an out-and-back with a total climb of about 560 feet, and the steepest stretch comes at about 1.6 miles in, where the grade reaches 10 percent. The trail is a natural-surface route, and it is open to both horses and bikes. The start sits at about 1,705 feet, and the high point reaches about 1,908 feet. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Blairsville show May highs around 76°F and October highs around 70°F, with September seeing the fewest wet days of the year. Nimblewill Branch -C Spur starts just 0.1 mile away, and Parallel Trail is about half a mile off.
