Killingworth is a climbing area in Connecticut, about 1.2 miles from the town of Killingworth. It sits close to several other climbing spots, so it works well as a base for exploring the cluster of crags in the area. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Mt Carmel show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 76°F, with July peaking near 85°F. The closest climbing areas are Blue Trail South (UFO), Grey Matter Area and Chatfield Weather Caves, all about 0.1 mile away. For a walk, Chimney Trail is about half a mile off.
