Quary View High Trail is a short, easy hike in Connecticut, about 1.5 miles from the town of Maromas. The route is 0.41 miles long, with a one-way climb of 165 feet from a starting elevation of 135 feet to a high point of 280 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.25 miles in, with a grade of 12 percent. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Meriden run to highs around 70°F in May and 75°F in September, while July highs average about 84°F. The Scovill Northern Loop and Scovill Southern Loop both start about 0.1 miles away. Hillside Boulders, a climbing area, is about a mile off, and Higganum Creek offers canoeing about 2 miles away.
