Ives Red Trail is a short, easy hike in Connecticut, about 0.34 miles long and rising about 47 feet from a low point of 158 feet to a high of 214 feet. It is a point-to-point route, and the steepest stretch comes early, at about 0.07 miles in, with a 7% grade. The trail sits just 0.2 miles from the town of Pondside. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go.
