Green Trail is a short, easy hike in Connecticut, about 0.34 miles long and rising just 27 feet from its low point of 289 feet to a high of 331 feet. It is a point-to-point route, and the climb is flat, with the steepest stretch at about 0.08 miles in, where the grade reaches 4 percent. The nearest town is Farmington Station, about 0.6 miles away. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Burlington show May highs around 70°F and September highs around 75°F, while July averages about 84°F and January highs sit near 36°F. The hike takes about half an hour. The Orange Trail lies just 0.2 miles away, and the Yellow Trail and Blue Trail are each about a mile off. Climbers can find Porcupine Wall roughly 2.6 miles away.
