Bob and Betty is an easy hike in the Indian Peaks Wilderness, part of the Boulder Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is about 1.76 miles long with a one-way elevation gain of 443 feet. It's an out-and-back route that starts and ends at about 11,122 feet and climbs to roughly 11,559 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical July averages from a nearby weather station run about 69°F for highs and 46°F for lows, and the station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the route run cooler. Winter is cold, with typical January highs around freezing. Horses are allowed, and bikes are not. King Lake and Corona Lake, both mountain biking areas, are each about a mile away. Eldora, a climbing area, is about 3.7 miles off.
