Sugarloaf Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Sulphur Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado. It sits among a cluster of trails and campgrounds, with the South Fork trail just 0.1 mile away and South Fork Campground about 0.4 mile off. The site has vault toilets, and a fee is charged for stays. The closest neighbors are the South Fork trail and the Williams Fork Boardwalk, both within half a mile, along with the South Fork Group Site and Darling Creek. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Dillon show July highs around 75°F with lows near 38°F, while winter highs stay in the low 30s. Paddlers can head to Williams Fork, about 6.4 miles away, and climbers will find Equinox Gardens roughly 7.9 miles off.
