Bear Lake Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Bear River area of the Yampa Ranger District, part of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest in Colorado. It sits about 14 miles southwest of Yampa on Forest Development Road 900, just east of Bear Lake. The campground has 43 modern sites and was completely rebuilt in 2002. Vault toilets are the only listed amenity, and a campground fee is charged. Reservations are not accepted. Several other places are close by. Mandall Lakes is about 1.4 miles away, and the Ute-Heart Lake Trail is about 2.2 miles away. Horseshoe Campground and Cold Springs Campground are both within about 3 miles.
