Pinnacle Campground sits within Stagecoach State Park in northwest Colorado, managed by State Fish and Wildlife. It is a campground in its own right, and it makes an easy base for exploring the park's trails and other campgrounds, which cluster within a short walk. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. The Pinnacle Loop Trail starts just 0.1 mile away, and McKindley Campground and McKindley Group Campground are each about 0.2 mile off.
