Rancho Del Rio offers guided rafting trips on the Upper Colorado River between Rancho Del Rio and State Bridge, a 2-hour Class II beginner run ideal for families with young children. Paddlers encounter frequent wildlife sightings and hear stories of the infamous miner "Three Fingered Willie," whose cabin can be toured during the trip. Inflatable kayaks are available as an alternative to rafts, along with wet suits, booties, and rain gear. Trips run May through September. The operation is conducted under special permit from the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. Rancho Del Rio also provides vehicle shuttles for river users along the Colorado River and operates as a full resort with lodging, camping, a restaurant, and year-round activities.
