Lyme Disease Rock is a climbing area in Sanborn County Park, on county land in California. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots and trails, with Yabo Zone, Dog Dish Boulders and Mrs Magoo Boulder all about 0.2 miles away, and Castle Rock Trail about the same distance. The area is a sport climbing destination. Nine routes are listed, all rated from 5.7 to 5.11c/d. Cosgrove Face, the hardest of them, was first climbed by Scott Cosgrove in 1991. Bitch Goddess Right and Pigs' Feat are both 5.10a, and Lucky in Love is 5.11b. Summer is the driest and warmest stretch. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 81°F with only about one wet day a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-50s and rain on roughly 14 days a month.
