Indian Cracks is a bouldering area in Sanborn County Park, on county land in California. It sits among several other climbing spots in the park, including Sanborn County Park (Indian Rock Side) and The Gods, all about 0.1 mile away, and Clamshell Boulder is just as close. The area is a cluster of boulder problems, with nine routes listed and all of them rated on the V scale. The easiest is Indian Crack at V0, and the hardest is International Female at V7. The median grade runs V2-3, so climbers can find problems to suit a range of abilities. Summer is the driest and warmest time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 81°F with only about one wet day a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-50s and rain on roughly 14 days a month. That station sits about 770 feet lower than the park, so temperatures at the cracks run cooler. For a walk, Castle Rock Trail is about 0.2 mile away and Skyline Trail about 0.7 mile. Paddlers can reach the San Lorenzo River, roughly 9 miles off.
