Echo Cliffs is a climbing area in the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area in California, managed by the National Park Service. It sits within the recreation area's network of climbing spots, and no fee is charged to visit. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show April highs around 78°F and November highs around 76°F, while July and August average in the mid-90s. That station sits well below the cliffs, so temperatures up high run cooler. Several other climbing areas lie about 0.2 miles away, including Treasure Towers, Alcove, The and Kamikaze Cave. The Backbone Trail and Mishe Mokwa Trail are each about half a mile off, and Circle X Ranch Group Campground is about 1.1 miles away.
