Typical high / low (°F) and days with rain or snow, 1991–2020. Measured at San Luis Obispo Poly, CA, 2 mi away at 308 ft. The station sits about 1,100 ft lower than this place, so expect it a little cooler here. Source: NOAA NCEI U.S. Climate Normals 1991–2020.

The Cube is a climbing area in Bunnell Open Space, a city-managed open space in California. It sits on city land, and several other climbing areas lie within a short distance, making it easy to pair with other routes in the same corner of the park. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 72°F and October highs around 78°F, with almost no wet days in July and August. That station sits about 1,000 feet lower than the Cube, so temperatures up here run cooler. Hidden Gully, Good Times on Planet Earth and True Summit Block are all about 0.1 mile away. Bishop Peak Trail is about 0.2 mile off.
