Boulder In The Woods is a bouldering area in California, set within Ferrini Ranch Open Space on city land. The climb here is all on the ground, with bouldering as the main draw. The area is a cluster of boulder problems, and it sits right beside other climbing and hiking. Hummingbird Boulders and Cracked Wall are both about 0.1 mile away, and the Felsman Loop Trail and Bishop Peak Trail are within a short walk. The route grades range from V0 up to V8-, so climbers of all levels will find something here. Summer is the driest and warmest stretch. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 80°F with no wet days, while winter months bring highs in the mid-60s and about nine wet days a month. For an overnight stay, Cerro Alto campground is about 9 miles away, and Morro Bay State Park Campground is about 10 miles away.
