Sedona is a climbing area in the Munds Mountain Wilderness, part of the Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona. The Forest Service manages the land. The area sits at an elevation of about 4,200 feet, and the nearby weather station in Sedona records typical averages from that height. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical highs run about 75°F in April and 79°F in October, while July highs average around 97°F. The climbing here is trad, with one sport route. Eight routes are listed, with grades from 5.11- to 5.13. Damfino Spire is 5.11- and The Aging Bull is 5.13. Hopscotch is the sport route at 5.12-. Marg's Draw and The Cuz Wall are both climbing areas about a mile away. Broken Arrow #125 is a hike at 1.3 miles, and Chavez Crossing campground is about 2.4 miles off.
