Camel's Head Area is a climbing area in the Munds Mountain Wilderness, part of the Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona. The Forest Service manages the land. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Oak Creek Canyon weather station show May highs around 78°F and October highs around 74°F, while July and August average about 90°F. Several climbing areas sit right next to Camel's Head. Lucy Spire is about 0.1 mile away, and Marg's Draw and Cuz Wall are each about 0.2 mile off. For a hike, Munds Wagon #78 is about 0.4 mile away.
