Hidden Towers is a climbing area in Arizona on county land within a proposed open space, about 0.1 mile from the Road Area and 0.2 mile from the Penguinland Area. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Talon's Grip Area and The Roost Area also within a short distance. The area has five routes, three of which are trad and two mixed, with grades ranging from 5.8 to 5.10+. Tower One is the easiest at 5.8, and Bladdimir and the Ost is the hardest at 5.10+. The first ascents of most of these routes were made by David Sampson and Arjun Heimsath. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to climb. Typical averages from the nearby Superior weather station show April highs around 78°F and October highs around 84°F, while July and August average near 99°F. That station sits about 1,360 feet lower than the area, so temperatures here run cooler. Oak Flat campground is about 2.6 miles away, and the Legends of Superior Trail is about 3.2 miles off.
