The Boat Launch Boulders are a bouldering area in the Mogollon Rim Ranger District of Coconino National Forest, Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among several other climbing spots, including Blue Ridge Reservoir and Powerline Crag, each about a tenth of a mile away, and the C.C. Cragin (Blue Ridge) Reservoir, a fishing spot, at the same distance. The area holds five boulder problems, all rated V0 or V1. The easiest is Rocket Science at V0, and the hardest is Asian equalization and Butterfly whisperer at V1. The routes are boulders, so there is no rope or anchor gear to use, just holds on the rock itself. Spring and fall bring the most comfortable conditions. Typical averages from the nearby Blue Ridge Reservoir weather station, at a similar elevation, show May highs around 70°F and October highs around 67°F, while July runs about 83°F with lows near 55°F.
