Rogers is a hard hike in the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. The route is an out-and-back of about 10.7 miles, with a total elevation gain of 586 feet, from a low point of 7,091 feet to a high of 7,701 feet. The trail surface is natural. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Flagstaff show May highs around 67°F and October highs around 64°F, while July and August bring the most wet days, about 11 to 14 a month. The Flagstaff Loop Trail lies about 0.7 miles away, and the Arbor and Dry Lakes Trail (FUTS) hikes are within about 2 miles. Climbers can find Flagstaff Bouldering roughly 2.4 miles off.
