Griffith Springs is a bouldering area in the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in northern Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among the many climbing spots in the Flagstaff area, with the Griffith Spring hike and the Flagstaff Bouldering area both within a mile. The climbing here is all bouldering, and the four routes are rated from V0 to V2. King Of The Hill and The Aesthetic Highball are both V0, and Griffith's Overhang and The 7 pigs are V2. The area is small, so it works well as a short stop for boulderers. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable months. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Flagstaff run from highs around 68°F in May to 74°F in September, with July and August the wettest months. Other nearby options include the Griffith Spring hike, about 0.3 miles away, and the Highland hike at about 1 mile. Marshall Lake, roughly 9.5 miles out, offers fishing, and Pine Flat Campground West is about 7 miles away.
