Oldham Trail is a hard hike in the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest, Arizona, managed by the Forest Service. It is an out-and-back route of about 12.7 miles, with a one-way elevation gain of about 2,050 feet, starting at roughly 7,050 feet and reaching about 8,915 feet at the high point. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the Ft Valley weather station, about 6.9 miles away, show May highs near 71°F with lows around 33°F, and October highs near 66°F with lows around 30°F. July and August run warmer, with highs in the low 80s, and those months also see the most wet days. The Arizona Trail-Lower Oldham and the Oldham mountain biking route both sit about 0.1 mile away. The Tombstone Area climbing area is about 0.2 mile off, and Lockett Meadow Campground is about 8.6 miles away.
