Green House is a hard hike in the Chiricahua Wilderness, part of the Douglas Ranger District of Coronado National Forest in southeastern Arizona. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is a natural-surface out-and-back that climbs from about 7,079 feet to about 9,222 feet, with a total gain of 4,855 feet over the round trip. The steepest stretch comes at about 1.9 miles in, with a grade of 37 percent. The route is not accessible, and bikes are not allowed. The nearest town is Douglas, about 6.5 miles away. Bear Wallow and the Crest Trail #270C are both within a mile. Sycamore and Rustler Park campgrounds sit about 3 miles off.
