Falls is an easy, out-and-back hike in the Clifton Ranger District of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests in eastern Arizona, about 1.7 miles long with a total elevation gain of 118 feet. The trail runs on natural surface and is open year-round, and the Forest Service manages the land. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Clifton show April highs around 81°F and October highs around 83°F, while June and July average about 100°F. That station sits roughly 900 feet lower than the trail, so temperatures on the hike run cooler. The route is short and gentle, with a low point of about 4,331 feet and a high of about 4,458 feet. Bikes and horses are both allowed, and the trail is not accessible. The Santa Cruz Trail lies about half a mile away, and Pat Mesa and Blowout Trail are within about 2.3 miles. For an overnight stay, Granville Campground is about 6 miles off.
