Crystal Point is a 6.4-mile out-and-back hike in the Flagstaff Ranger District of Coconino National Forest in Arizona. The trail gains about 316 feet from its starting point, which sits at roughly 6,490 feet, to a high of about 7,189 feet. It is a hard hike, and the route is natural-surfaced. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Mund's Park run from highs around 69°F and lows around 34°F in May to highs near 76°F and lows around 41°F in September. That station sits about 700 feet lower than the high point on the trail. The Pinewood parking area serves as the trailhead. Little Horse is less than a mile away, and Munds Canyon Trail, a mountain biking route, is about 1.4 miles off. Schnebly Hill Overlook, a climbing area, is about 6.3 miles away, and Dairy Springs campground is about 7.2 miles away.
