Hangover #78C is a 6.9-mile out-and-back hike in the Red Rock Ranger District of Coconino National Forest, about 2.6 miles from Sedona, Arizona. The trail rises from 4,663 feet to 5,230 feet, a climb of 143 feet, and is rated moderate. The route is open to bikes, and horses are not allowed. The trailhead is at the Schnebly Hill parking area, and the hike makes an easy pairing with other outings in the area. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Oak Creek Canyon weather station show May highs around 78°F and October highs around 74°F, while July and August average about 90°F. Cow Pies #78B is just 0.3 miles away, and the climbing areas The BreezeBlocks and Flying Buttress are within a mile. For an overnight stay, Chavez Crossing campground is about 4.1 miles off.
