Vedauwoo is a climbing area in the Laramie Ranger District of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest in Wyoming, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing and hiking destinations, with the Valley Massif Trail starting just 0.1 mile away and the Devil's Slide Trail about 0.6 mile off. The area offers a mix of bouldering and traditional routes, with 62 routes in total. Boulderers will find 30 boulder problems, and trad climbers have 24 traditional routes. Grades run from 5.4 to 5.13 on the YDS scale and from V0- to V13 on the V scale. Among the named routes are Glenn's First Name at 5.4 and The Lost Crack at 5.13. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Laramie show July highs around 81°F with lows near 52°F, while winter highs stay in the low 30s. Vedauwoo Campground is about 1.2 miles away, and Reynolds Hill, another climbing area, is about 0.6 mile off.
