The Dungeon is a bouldering area in the Laramie Ranger District of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest in Wyoming, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing and camping spots, with Holdout, Nautilus and Vedauwoo Campground all about 0.1 mile away. The climbing here is all bouldering, and the routes run from V0 to V8 on the V scale. The Corridor and The Yard are both V0, and Iron Maiden is V8. The YDS grades for the same routes range from 5.12- to 5.12c. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Laramie show July highs around 81°F with lows near 52°F, while winter highs stay in the low 30s. Vedauwoo Glen and Turtle Rock Loop are both within half a mile for a walk, and Pole Creek Group Campground is about 7 miles away.
