Old Folks' Wall is a climbing area in the Laramie Ranger District of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest in Wyoming, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing and hiking spots, with Ice Box (later renamed by some ... Jurassic Park) just 0.1 mile away and Hassler's Hatbox and Land of the Rising Moon each about 0.4 mile off. The area has seven routes, with four trad, two sport and one mixed. Grades run from 5.6 to 5.10b, and the hardest is The Bunny, a mixed climb at 5.10b. Among the trad routes are Ish Kabibble at 5.6 and The Gelding Years at 5.10a. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Laramie show July highs around 81°F with lows near 52°F, while winter highs stay in the low 30s. Vedauwoo Campground is about 0.6 mile away, and the Turtle Rock Loop hike starts about 0.3 mile off.
