Rainbow Fish Camp Rocks is a climbing area in the Douglas Ranger District of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest, part of the Thunder Basin National Grassland in Wyoming. The Forest Service manages the surrounding land, and the site sits within the wider Thunder Basin National Grassland. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run from highs around 76°F in June to about 84°F in July, with lows in the upper 40s. Winters are cold, with January highs near 38°F and lows around 17°F. Krumbling Towers, another climbing area, is just 0.2 miles away. The North Laramie River Trail is about 1.5 miles off, and the North Laramie River offers canoeing about 2.9 miles away. Friend Park Campground is roughly 8.6 miles from the rocks.
