Hot Cinnamon Wall is a climbing area within Guernsey Reservoir State Park in Wyoming, managed by State Park and Recreation. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with The Red Clove Wall about 0.1 mile away and Maroon Towers Wall about 0.2 mile away. The area is a sport climber's playground, with 30 routes that span from the mid-5.7s up to 5.12d. Most are sport routes, and the median grade is about 5.10d. The lone trad route is Turncoat, a 5.7 first ascended by Archer and Trad Mike. Among the harder routes are Platte River Bust at 5.12d and Entanglements Outward Bond at 5.11a. Summer is the warmest stretch for climbing. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Guernsey Dam show July highs around 89°F and lows near 59°F, while June and August run slightly cooler. Winter is cold, with January highs in the upper 30s and lows around 14°F.
