Garden Canyon is a hard hike in Wyoming's Caribou-Targhee National Forest, on the Palisades Ranger District. The trail is about 6 miles long, with a total elevation gain of about 2,150 feet, and it is an out-and-back route that climbs from a low point of about 6,770 feet to a high point of about 8,815 feet. The trail is on natural surface, and it is open to both horses and bikes. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is open year-round. The Garden Ridge hike starts about half a mile away, and Big Basin Canyon and Dry Canyon are each within about 2 miles. For an overnight stay, Big Elk Campground & Group Area is about 4.7 miles away.
