Face Trail is a 4.7-mile out-and-back hike in Wyoming's Jedediah Smith Wilderness, within the Teton Basin Ranger District of the Caribou-Targhee National Forest. The trail climbs from about 7,000 feet to nearly 10,000 feet, with a total elevation gain of 2,941 feet, and is rated moderate. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is open from about June 15 to November 1. The route is natural-surfaced and allows horses, but not bikes. The trailhead parking is at South Teton, and the surrounding area is packed with other destinations. Grand Wall, a climbing area, sits just 0.1 mile away, and the South Teton and North Teton hikes are each about 0.2 mile off. Teton Canyon campground is also about 0.2 mile away.
