Diamond Point is a climbing area in New River Gorge National Park and Preserve in West Virginia, managed by the National Park Service. It sits among a cluster of named climbing areas, with H) Hellbound Area, F) Flash Point Area and I) Honeymooner's Area all about 0.1 mile away, and E) Kaymoor Slabs at a similar distance. The area has 19 climbing routes, with 11 done in trad style, 7 in sport and one mixed. Grades range from 5.7 to 5.12d, with the median around 5.11b. Supersymmetry is a mixed route at 5.7, Strike A Scowl is a sport route at 5.10, and The Weatherman's Thumb, a sport route at 5.12d, is among the hardest. For timing, the most comfortable stretch is late spring through early fall. Typical averages from the nearby Oak Hill weather station show September highs around 75°F and lows near 54°F, while July and August run about 81°F. Winter is cold, with January highs near 41°F and lows around 23°F. Hikers can reach the Endless Wall Climbers' Access Trail about 0.3 mile away and the Butchers Branch Trail about 0.6 mile away. For paddling, Manns Creek lies about 7 miles off.
