Kaymoor Slabs is a climbing area in New River Gorge National Park and Preserve in West Virginia, managed by the National Park Service. It sits among a cluster of other climbing areas, with Idol Point, Flash Point Area and Diamond Point all about 0.1 mile away. The area has 14 routes, with sport climbing making up nine of them and trad climbing five. Grades run from 5.5 to 5.13b, with the median at 5.10a. Among the named routes are Newd Scientist, a 5.5 trad climb first done in 1986, and Villain's Course, a 5.13b sport route from 1990. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 75°F and September highs around 78°F, with July the warmest month at about 84°F. That station sits roughly 450 feet lower than the slabs, so temperatures on the rock run a little cooler. The Endless Wall Climbers' Access Trail is about 0.2 mile away, and the Butchers Branch Trail is about 0.6 mile away. Paddlers can find Manns Creek about 7 miles off.
