Top Self Area is a bouldering area in the Henry M. Jackson Wilderness, within the Skykomish Ranger District of Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits inside designated wilderness. The climbing here is all bouldering, with 11 routes spread across the boulders. Grades run from V1 to V9-10, with the median at V4. Some of the named routes are Hobbit Hole (V1), Coal Fired (V4), and Fortress of Solitude Proj (V9-10). Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the Stampede Pass weather station, about 35 miles away, show July and August highs near 68 to 69°F with only seven or eight wet days a month, while winter months bring highs around freezing and rain on 20 days a month. Tri-Point Boulder and The Pit are both about 0.1 mile away. The Iron Goat Trail is 1.5 miles off, and the Tye River offers canoeing about 2.2 miles away.
