River Boulder is a bouldering area in the Henry M. Jackson Wilderness, within the Skykomish Ranger District of Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits inside designated wilderness. The climbing here is all bouldering, with 21 routes spread across the boulder fields. The grades run from V0 to V9-10, with the median around V5. Some of the named routes include Crag Ducks Attack at V0, Pork Fly, Don't Bother Me at V5, and Crunch Dyno Project at V9-10. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Holden Village show July and August highs around 76°F with only about six wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the upper 20s and rain on most days. Party Boulder and 1st Talus Field both lie about 0.1 mile away. The Iron Goat Trail is about a mile off, and the Tye River offers canoeing roughly 2 miles away.
