South Seas boulder is a bouldering area in the Wenatchee River Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing areas, with The South Seas and The Pasture both about 0.1 mile away. The bouldering here is all on the V scale, with five routes ranging from V0 to V2. South Seas Arete is the easiest at V0, and Walk the Plank is the hardest at V2. The other routes are Jolly Roger, Long John Silver and Shiver Me Timbers, all at V1. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Leavenworth show July and August highs around 87°F with only about three wet days a month, while winter highs sit near 34°F with 14 wet days a month. That station sits roughly 800 feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures on the rock run cooler. The Rat Creek Ridge Trail and the Canyon Crest Trail both start about 0.6 mile away. For an overnight stay, Eightmile Group Site is about 4.4 miles off, and Peshastin Creek offers canoeing about 5 miles away.
