From Russia With Love is a bouldering area in the Wenatchee River Ranger District of Washington's Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The name is a climbing route of its own, and the area has six routes that sit within a short distance, so it works well as a compact outing for boulderers. The routes range from V2-3 up to V11, with the V9 "From Russia with Love" and V11 "Odd Job" among the harder options. The climbing is all bouldering, and the area's proximity to the Moonraker and Other Routes areas means climbers can easily pair this stop with another boulder session right next door. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable stretches. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Leavenworth run from highs around 71°F in May to 78°F in September, with summer highs in the mid-80s and winter highs near 34°F. That station sits a few hundred feet below the area, so temperatures on the rock may run slightly cooler. The Snow Lakes Trail starts less than a mile away, and Eightmile Group Site offers camping about 3 miles off. Paddlers can head to Peshastin Creek, roughly 6 miles away.
