Pearly Gates is a climbing area in Washington's Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, within the Wenatchee River Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land. The area offers a range of routes. There are 27 in total, with 20 trad routes, six sport routes and one mixed. Grades run from 5.7 up to 5.12a, with the median around 5.10a. Among the trad routes are Bring your Weedwacker at 5.7, Heavens Sake at 5.10-, and Poison Balance at 5.12a. The sport route Speak No Evil is at 5.10d. For comfortable weather, aim for late spring or early fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Leavenworth, about 2.4 miles away, show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 78°F. July and August are warmer, with highs near 87°F, while winter highs stay around 34°F. That station sits well below the area, so temperatures at the climbing spots run cooler. The Snow Lakes Trail is 0.4 miles away, and the Underhill and Bebop-Dinky-Secret Crags climbing areas are each about half a mile off. Eightmile Group Site, a campground, is 2.6 miles away.
