The Pasture is a bouldering area in the Wenatchee River Ranger District of the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest in Washington, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with The South Seas and South Seas boulder just 0.1 mile away. The area holds 14 boulder problems, ranging from V0 to V12. The median grade is V4-5, and the hardest route is Cattleguard Project at V12. Among the named routes are Hoofin' It at V0, Cud Crack at V2 and Goodnight Moon at V7, which was first climbed by Joel Campbell. Summer is the warmest stretch. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Leavenworth show July and August highs around 87°F with lows near 50°F and only about three wet days a month. That station sits roughly 800 feet lower than the boulders, so temperatures at the crag run cooler. The Rat Creek Ridge Trail and Canyon Crest Trail both start within a mile. Eightmile Group Site offers camping about 4.5 miles away, and Peshastin Creek, a paddling spot, is about 5 miles off.
