Viper is a short, easy mountain biking route in Washington, about half a mile from the community of Henrys. It's an out-and-back ride of roughly a mile, with a low point of 628 feet and a high of 696 feet, so the climb is only about 50 feet one way. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from the nearby Landsburg weather station show July and August highs around 77°F with only about seven wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-40s and rain on most days. Several other mountain biking routes sit close by. Stinger is about 0.1 mile away, Route 66 about 0.3 mile, and Spike about 0.4 mile. For paddling, Big Soos Creek is about 6.7 miles off.
