Stinger is a short, easy mountain biking route in Washington, about 0.6 miles from the town of Henrys. The ride is an out-and-back of roughly half a mile, with a low point of 625 feet and a high of 650 feet. The climb is gentle, with a total gain of 74 feet, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.13 miles in, with a 7% grade. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from the nearby Landsburg weather station show July and August highs around 77°F with only about seven wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-40s and rain on most days. Route 66 and the Viper trail are both within about 0.2 miles, and the Upper Beaver Loop hike is close by. For paddling, Big Soos Creek is about 6.5 miles away.
