Spike is a short, flat mountain biking route in Washington, about half a mile from the town of Henrys. It is an out-and-back ride of roughly 0.3 miles, with a high point of 586 feet and a start elevation of 585 feet. The climb is nearly flat, with a total gain and loss of about 13 feet each way, and the route is rated moderate. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from the nearby Landsburg weather station show July and August highs around 77°F with only about seven wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-40s and rain on 20 or more days.
